Acne is a very common condition affecting all age groups especially teens and young adults. Its severity can vary from mild to severe cystic form of acne. The best option is always to go for the professional approach that considers all aspects of acne to customize the right treatment and follow up
Acne scars are common, varying in severity, and often result from years of untreated acne. The good news is that prevention and improvement are both easily achievable. Though many people with acne scarring give up hope that they will ever have healthy, radiant looking skin, there are a number of effective solutions. Acne scar treatment begins with getting existing acne under control, followed by a customized treatment plan to rejuvenate your skin’s appearance.
Years, environmental factors, UV damage, life style, smoking, poor nutrition, toxins, and lack of skin care all conspire to start the aging process at an earlier stage of life. Believe it or not, you are never too young to start taking control of the aging process, nor are you ever too old to reduce the visible signs of aging. While youthful skin sometimes appears vibrant and smooth, with small pores, smooth skin and even tone, older skin is mottled, dry, dull and wrinkly with visibly large pores. Fine lines and wrinkles are an inevitable part of the aging process, even more so if proper precautions were not taken from a young age (i.e., sunscreen, a daily skincare regimen). Genetics also play a role in the aging process, and can result in the appearance of lines and wrinkles anytime during adulthood. Fortunately, there are numerous treatments available that will help you restore your youthful, glowing skin, and make you look as young as you feel.
Dry skin is mainly environmental, but very rarely genetic for example Ichthyosis. Not only is dry, dull and flakey skin unsightly at times, it’s also extremely uncomfortable to those who suffer from it. Luckily most of the dry skin problems can be controlled and easily treated. Dr. Chandra and the medical estheticians at Anara Medspa recommend a combination of a medical-grade skincare products with procedures that work by providing a specific moisture level to help properly restore hydration and revitalize skin tone and texture.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) issues can lead to significant self-esteem issues, decreased physical and emotional well-being and a diminished overall quality of life. Although it is possible that ED issues are related to emotional struggles or an underlying mental health condition like anxiety or depression and in some cases medication-induced to treat the very same conditions, it is much more likely that the cause is physiological in nature. Physiological factors that can contribute to ED include blood flow issues related to vascular disease, heart disease or diabetes, neurological complications from stroke, trauma or surgery or simply age-related deterioration of healthy tissue function (e.g., skin, muscles, blood vessels, etc.). The PRP treatment called PRP Male Rejuvenation, performed by Dr. Chandra, can greatly reduce the symptoms of ED, and improve sexual satisfaction in both the patient and his partner. The male sexual enhancement also works extremely well as a preventative measure to reduce the likelihood of future ED symptoms and improve sexual health.
Unwanted hair anywhere in the body, can be a struggle for many women and men to deal with. Many people resort to plucking, frequent waxing, threading, and daily shaving, that can lead to ingrown hair, bumps, darkening of the skin and embarrassment. Not to mention the amount of time and money that people waste thru out their life. Sometimes the ingrown hair can cause pus and abscess formation as in pilonidal abscesses that need surgical treatment, which in turn can lead to scarring. Some want the hair removed just for hygienic purpose. Whatever is your reason, at Anara Medspa you have a more permanent solution with laser treatments. No one knows this better than Anara Medspa and we excel in this treatment!
A natural part of the aging process is the deterioration of fat, tissue, collagen and elastin in the face, resulting in loss of facial volume, loss of firmness, loss of elasticity and laxity. Natural aging processes, nutrition and environmental factors, smoking and genetics in combination are causes of this issue, and severity can vary widely from person to person. Loss of the youthful elasticity in our face results in the emergence of lines and wrinkles, and loss of definition. This typically begins during your 20’s, with slow but evident bone loss. Thankfully, there are a number of treatments that can quickly and effectively restore a youthful, voluminous appearance. Remember – it is never too early to begin treatment
Also called penile fibrosis, Peyronie’s disease is thought to be a localized contracture of the tunica albuginea of the penis that can result in plaque formation, leading to penile curvature, shortening, deformity, pain, difficulty achieving erection and generalized erectile dysfunction. It is estimated that there are more than 200,000 new cases per year in USA. Since the medical community is unsure about what causes Peyronie’s Disease, it is thought that a possible cause could be autoimmune, genetic or micro trauma related. The PRP Male Rejuvenation, performed by Dr. Chandra, can greatly reduce the symptoms of Peyronie’s disease and even be near-curative.
As we age, our skin loses collagen and elastin, which can cause pores to become prominent and the skin’s texture to become less smooth and less radiant. Large pores and rough skin texture are a concern for many, and may cause extreme self-consciousness. Undesirable skin texture is most often attributed to aging, sun exposure, poor diet, smoking and other factors. At Anara Medspa, we offer a wide array of treatments that can help address these concerns and restore the skin’s youthful appearance.
Rosacea is a condition which does not seem to have a permanent cure, but it can be controlled. Though the exact cause is not known, it often seems to be the result of sun damage, auto-immune dysfunction, allergies, skin sensitivity and skin over-reactivity. Its seen more commonly in those with lighter skin types and very rare in those with darker skin. Those who suffer from rosacea and general skin redness typically experience skin redness, broken capillaries, flushing and hypersensitivity to certain stimulants like heat, cold, alcohol, stress, exercise, etc. The focus of treatment should be on getting the skin in better health, reducing whatever stimulates or exacerbates skin redness and inflammation, and treating the actual vessels. Flushing rosacea seems to be more stubborn to treatment.
Stretch marks are caused by rapid weight loss or gain or growth spurts, and can be of varying severity based on genetics and skin laxity. Scars (including normal, hypertrophic, and keloid scars) can be caused by any number of factors, including surgery, trauma, burns and those that are spontaneous. Those who suffer from scars and stretch marks find them embarrassing. Treating these often requires a multi-treatment multi-modal approach, coupled with the use of medical-grade skincare products, to achieve optimal results. While it’s not possible to “remove” scars and stretch marks completely, they can be made better-looking esthetically and to look less prominent.
There are many different tissue structures in the body that deteriorate and lose function with age, resulting in issues like sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction can be both physical and mental, and prevents both men and women from enjoying sexual activity. Anara Medspa is proud to offer the PRP Male Rejuvenation to help address sexual dysfunction issues in women and men. Dr. Chandra has been personally trained by Charles Runels, M.D., inventor of the male sexual enhancement, and is now one of the few expert physicians in the world who specializes in these procedures.
Melasma is generally hormonally related. Those affected with melasma and skin discolorations, including damage from the sun, birthmarks or hyperpigmentation, feel extremely self-conscious about their skin condition. Some female patients battle skin discoloration from hormonal changes and especially during or after pregnancy, and sometimes even after a period of birth control pills. There are many treatments and products that can be used to maintain healthy skin and prevent pigment from returning. Melasma is mainly a condition of women though rarely men also can be affected. While there is no permanent cure for melasma, it can be controlled. Discoloration from sun damage or after inflammation (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) however tends to respond better
As we age, our skin begins to appear to sag due to loss of collagen and elastin. This “sagginess” or “droopiness” can make a person appear older and feel less attractive, with loss of firmness and elasticity. Natural aging, smoking, genetics, diet, stress, sun exposure, weight fluctuations and environmental factors, among other things, result in loss of collagen and elastin in our skin. At Anara Medspa, we offer several treatments that can correct these laxity issues and rejuvenate the skin. However extreme laxity of skin might need referral to plastic surgery for surgical face-lift. However surgical facelift alone does not address the health of the skin itself. One must know everyone needs different choice of treatments and no single treatment is perfect.
Telangiectasias, commonly referred to as spider veins or broken capillaries, are small, nonfunctioning blood vessels that become dilated and, therefore, more visible under the skin or on mucous membranes anywhere on the body (face, neck, legs, arms, etc.). Broken vessels and spider veins generally pose no health threat to patients, but are a common aesthetic concern. At Anara Medspa, we offer a number of treatments that can help address these issues.
