The PRP Breast Rejuvenation in NJ is a non-surgical minimally invasive, no-downtime breast rejuvenation treatment that uses the science of platelet rich plasma (PRP) to improve the look, feel and fullness of the skin and soft tissue to enhance the cleavage area. This treatment can also enhance or restore sensation in the nipples and breasts as experienced by some patients, and therefore enhances sexual satisfaction. This is not like a surgical breast lift, and one should not be deceived by claims that they will get a breast-lift.
During the PRP Breast Rejuvenation, the PRP (derived from your own blood and obtained painlessly) is injected into the inner and upper-breast area and is responsible for the amazing results of this procedure.
PRP is a concentrated source of platelets, growth factors and cytokines found naturally in your own body, and stimulates and controls healthy regenerative processes, including collagen and soft tissue remodeling, and improves overall health and rejuvenation. PRP has been used successfully for years in surgical, orthopedic and non-surgical procedures to promote improved healing times and optimal results from various procedures.
Dr. Chandra is trained and certified by the Cellular Medicine Association founder Dr Charles Runels, M.D. This training, combined with his understanding of the science of PRP, affords him unique expertise in this innovative treatment. He can educate the client about the difference between breast augmentation (implant surgery or “breast lift”) versus this treatment. Dr. Chandra also knows how to perform the PRP Breast Rejuvenation safely on patients who have previously had implant surgery.
Through our consultation process, we may be able to identify and recommend other laser, light and aesthetic treatments that can address age-related lines and wrinkles or sun damage to the skin in the cleavage area. Rarely, Dr. Chandra may also inject dermal filler along with PRP to improve results in patients with “implant show.” He sometimes also uses PDO threads in addition to enhance the results.
The PRP Breast Rejuvenation begins with a painless blood draw from your arm, allowing us to obtain the Platelet Rich Plasma using an FDA-approved sterile system. While we process the PRP, a medical-grade numbing cream is applied topically to the cleavage area. After you are numb, Dr. Chandra will inject the PRP into the skin and fatty tissue of the breasts. If more volume is needed, a dermal filler may also be injected in the area.
This non-surgical procedure will produce great results for women who desire a healthier look and feel of their cleavage of the breasts, versus a significant size increase that may be better addressed by a breast surgeon or plastic surgeon, through a breast lift or breast augmentation surgery using an implant.
The PRP Breast Rejuvenation in NJ can enhance the look, feel and fullness of the skin and soft tissue in the cleavage area for:
- Women of all ages and skin types (with or without implants) who desire for their breasts to appear more plump and youthful
- Young women who desire to prevent age-related deterioration of breast tissue
- Middle-age and older women who are experiencing thinning of skin and volume loss due to age and sun exposure
- Women who desire to restore sensation of the nipples and breasts, which can increase sexual satisfaction
- Women who have inverted nipples
The PRP Breast Rejuvenation produces visible rejuvenation of the cleavage area, and is especially successful for patients who seek to improve the appearance of their breasts in revealing clothing like bikini, bra, low-cut gown, V-neck shirt, etc. Within the first few weeks to months, as the PRP increases blood flow to the tissue, the color of the skin will improve and the tissue will thicken and become less transparent. Over time, fine lines and wrinkles will also begin to diminish through collagen remodeling, and fatty tissue will increase in volume.
In addition, this treatment may increase sexual satisfaction. Patients with decreased sensation in the nipple area or inverted nipples can see a significant increase in nipple sensitivity and regeneration of a healthier nipple-areolar complex. But don’t worry; it won’t make the nipple “too” sensitive or hyper-sensitive.
In general, one to two treatments are recommended to produce optimal results.
Most patients report that the PRP Breast Rejuvenation is very tolerable, with only slight discomfort during the five-minute injection process. Our powerful medical-grade numbing cream reduces this potential discomfort, and there is little to no discomfort afterwards except some mild soreness for a couple of days in some cases. We also offer optional laughing gas to minimize discomfort during the procedure which can further reduce the discomfort.
Unlike Surgery, there is no downtime after the PRP Breast Rejuvenation. Occasionally, patients report some mild soreness for one to two days after treatment. However, you can immediately resume normal daily chores, exercise and sexual activity.
