One of the common outcomes of aging and expressions in the lower part of the face is that often hated laugh lines, also called parentheses! We can fill them up! At Anara we use Juvederm, Restylane and Radiesse to fill these gaps. The most common areas treated are laugh lines, marionette lines and hollows and depressions on the sides of the face. Some deep scars and lipo atrophies can also be treated. Depending on the filler used these fillers last anywhere from 6 months to 18 months. In addition to instantaneously filling the gap, they also help in stimulating the collagen in the deeper layers of skin. Fillers are the third most commonly performed cosmetic procedures.  Usually there is no downtime to this procedure. Restylane and Juvederm are cross linked hyaluronic acid that is injected to the deeper layer of skin with a needle to fill the gap. Radiesse is made from Calcium Hydroxyapatiite and placed much deeper in the skin.  Many fillers are used in Europe and these 3 are the most commonly used fillers worldwide.
